Route 81 from the Clinton Town Line to Route 80 in Killingworth

NEWINGTON, Conn.-State Transportation Commissioner Joseph F. Marie announced today a change in the starting time for the ongoing Milling and Resurfacing project being performed on Route 81, from the Clinton Town Line to Route 80, in Killingworth. This project began on Monday, August 25, 2008 and is expected to continue through Tuesday, September 9, 2008.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is now 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday - Friday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
