Rehabilitation of Bridge No. 05845
Collector Roadway over I-84 Ramp J
Manchester, Connecticut
The Department of Transportation announced today thatwork will begin April 14, 2008on the rehabilitation of Bridge No. 05845 carryingthe I-291 east to I-384 east collectorroadway in the town of Manchester.
Allexisting trafficlanes on thecollectorroadwaywillremain open during commuting hours, Monday through Friday between 6:00am and 9:00am and between 3:00pm and 6:00pm and on weekends between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Work on this $1.0 million project is being performed by Mohawk Northeast Inc. under contract with the Department of Transportation. The projectis scheduled to be complete by September 10, 2008.
