Reconstruction of Route 66

Middlefield and Middletown, CT

Middletown, CT -The Department of Transportation announced today that beginning on March 3, 2008 through June 1, 2008 various lane closures can be expected on Route 66 Eastbound and Westbound between Baileyville Road. in Middlefield and Camp Street in Middletown.

These closures are part of the reconstruction of Route 66 in Middlefield and Middletown.

Empire Paving, Inc. of North Haven, CT will be performing this work.

Traffic Operations

Monday through Friday

7:00am to 3:30 pm

Construction signs and Local Police will be utilized for traffic control.

Motorists should use caution through the work zones and reduce their speed accordingly.
