NEWINGTON, Conn.-Acting Transportation Commissioner H. James Boice announced today that a Ramp Expansion project will be performed on Route 2A (westbound) at Exit 2, in Montville.  This project is scheduled to begin on or about Tuesday, May 13, 2008 and continue through December 2008.                                              

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Mondays – Fridays & occasional Saturdays).    

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
