Pothole Patching and Other Road Maintenance

Scheduled Around State on Saturday, February 16, 2008

          Connecticut Department of Transportation crews will be out around the state on Saturday, February 16, 2008, doing pothole, fence and other repairs. The work will begin at 6 a.m. and will continue as late as 1 p.m.

          Pothole repairs will be done on I-91 northbound and southbound in Meriden, Middletown, Cromwell, Rocky Hill, Wethersfield and Hartford; and on Route 2 eastbound and westbound in East Hartford and Glastonbury.

          Fence repairs will take place on Route 9 northbound in Cromwell and on I-84 eastbound in Plainville.

          In addition, an attenuator replacement will be performed on Route 2 eastbound in Glastonbury at the junction of Route 17.

          Sign patterns, cones and truck-mounted crash units will be utilized to guide motorists through the worksites.
