NEWINGTON, Conn.-State Transportation Commissioner Joseph F. Marie announced today that a Pothole Patching operation will be performed on I-84 (east & west) between Exits 63 (Route 30) and 68 (Route 195) in Manchester, Vernon and Tolland.  This project is scheduled to take place on or about Wednesday, October 1, 2008 and Thursday, October 2, 2008.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Wednesday & Thursday). 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
