NEWINGTON, Conn.-Acting Transportation Commissioner H. James Boice announced today that an Overhead Sign Replacement project will be performed on I-91 (northbound) between Exits 43 and 44, in Windsor Locks. This project is scheduled to take place on or about Saturday April 12, 2008. 

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (Saturday morning). 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
