Nighttime Lane Closures Scheduled on I-95 Northbound and Southbound between Exit 45 and Exit 46 in New Haven.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that nighttime lane closures on I-95 Northbound and Southbound between Exit 45 and Exit 46 in New Haven are scheduled to begin Monday September 22, 2008 between the hours of 8 pm and 6 am. These lane closures will be utilized for the next 4 weeks ending on October 23, 2008. Work will occur weather permitting and will be rescheduled, if necessary.

The work is part of the Howard Avenue Bridge Reconstruction Project that will require the installation of a new IMS conduit in the NB right shoulder as well as work in the median and shoulders on I-95.

Traffic may experience delays as follows:

Interstate 95

Mondays-Thursdays from 8 pm to 6 am

Motorists are urged to obey the posted speed limit and precede with caution through this and all other construction work zones.
