Lane closures scheduled for Route 2 Westbound on Monday and Tuesday October 13 and 14, 2008.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced today that Route 2 Westbound in Colchester and Marlborough will be reduced to one lane of travel from 10 a.m. Monday, October 13, 2008 until 6:00 a.m. Tuesday October 14, 2008, weather permitting.

The work is part of a DOT project awarded to Manafort Brothers, Inc. of Plainville, CT and includes resurfacing, bridge and safety Improvements. The project is scheduled for completion in December of this year (2008).
