The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced today that beginning April 21, 2008, construction will begin on a project involving operational improvements on Route 82in the vicinity ofthe I-395 interchange in Norwich.
Existing operational lanes on route 82 will remain open during construction as follows: East of Interstate I-395, Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 6 PM, West of I-395, Monday through Friday between 2 PM and 6 PM.
Temporary signing and/or city Police Officers will provide traffic control within the work site.
