·         : Hartford, Connecticut – The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that repair work will be performed this evening (October 15, 2008) on the Charter Oak Bridge, Northbound.  The work is expected to be completed in one night. 

The contractor will start work at 7 p.m. in the gore area near the exit ramp to Routes 2 and 5. The hours of work will be 7 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., October 15, 2008.

Two lanes of traffic will be maintained on Route 15 NB over the Charter Oak Bridge using traffic control devices with the assistance of State Police Officers.  The exit ramp to Routes 2 and 5 will remain open and accessible.

Mohawk Northeast, Inc. will be performing this work.    

Motorists are urged to obey the posted speed limit and precede with caution through this and all other construction work zones.
