NEWINGTON, Conn. -  State Transportation Commissioner Joseph F. Marie announced today that routine Bridge Inspection work will be performed on Route 15 (Northbound) between Exits 52 and 55 in Stratford (Sikorsky Bridge). This project is scheduled to take place on Monday December 8, 2008 thru Friday December 12, 2008. 

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The early morning work schedule for this project is 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
