NEWINGTON, Conn.- State Transportation Commissioner Ralph J. Carpenter announced today that Utility Work will be performed on Interstate 395 (northbound), Exit 93 off-ramp to Route 101 straight across and over the Interstate 395 northbound

on-ramp, in Killingly.  This project is scheduled to begin on or about Friday, July 13, 2007.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 12:00 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. (Friday Morning).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
