NEWINGTON, Conn. - State Transportation Commissioner Ralph J. Carpenter announced today that Traffic Loop Repairs will be performed on Route 10, from River Street to Route 372, in Southington & Plainville. This project is scheduled to take place on or about Monday, November 26, 2007 and continue through Thursday, November 29, 2007.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday - Thursday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
