Route 7 Wilton Reconstruction Project
SCHOOL ROAD SCHEDULED TO REOPEN
On August 24, 2007

Wilton, Connecticut Connecticut Department of Transportation officials have announced that School Road in Wilton, between Kristine Lilly Way and Route 7, is scheduled to REOPEN to traffic on Friday afternoon, August 24, 2007, on or about 3:30PM.  

The work is part of the overall project to widen Route 7 in Wilton that will accommodate two travel lanes, both northbound and southbound, for a length of approximately three miles from Wolfpit Road to Olmstead Hill Road. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2010. 

Please use caution and follow the posted speed limit when traveling through the construction work zone to ensure the safety of motorists and construction personnel.
