NEWINGTON
, Conn.- State Transportation Commissioner Ralph J. Carpenter announced today that a Roadway Milling project will be performed on Route 33, from just north of Drum Hill Road to Signal Hill Road South, in Wilton.  This project is scheduled to take place on or about Monday, October 1, 2007.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Monday).   

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
