Resurfacing Project Route 201 in North Stonington

NEWINGTON, Conn.-State Transportation Commissioner Ralph J. Carpenter announced today that a Resurfacing project will be performed on Route 2 (east & west), from the east junction of Route 201 to SR 627 (Mystic Road), in North Stonington. This project is scheduled to begin on or about Tuesday, June 19, 2007 and continue through Friday, June 22, 2007.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Tuesday - Friday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
