Route 44

Replacement of Bridge No. 02309 over West Norfolk Brook

The Department of Transportation announced today that, weather permitting, Black and Warner Construction Company of Unionville, Connecticut, will start the replacement of Bridge No. 02309 over West Norfolk Brook at the intersection of Route 44 and Ashpotag Road in the Town of Norfolk on May 14, 2007. A temporary traffic signal will be utilized to implement alternating one-way traffic for the duration of this project. This work is expected to be completed by November 2007. Motorists should expect minor delays.
