NEWINGTON, Conn. - State Transportation Commissioner Ralph J. Carpenter announced today that Pot Hole Patching project will be performed on I-84 (eastbound and westbound) between Exits 45 and 52, in Hartford.  This project is scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 30, 2007.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for the project is 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Sunday morning). 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
