Milling Operations Scheduled for June 9, 2007 
Route 22 at the intersection of Pool Road
Town of North Haven
North Haven, CT— The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced that the state contractor will be milling Route 22 at the intersection of Pool Road on Saturday, June 9 from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM weather permitting. In case of inclement weather, a rain date of Saturday, June 16, 2007 has been scheduled. 
This operation is to facilitate the intersection improvements on CT Route 22 at Pool Road in the Town of North Haven, which will include widening roadway, installation of curbing, sidewalks and pavement markings.  
The construction activities are part of an $881,000 contract with Louis Gherlone Excavating, Inc.  of Orange, CT. The project, which started in February 2007, is expected to be completed in October 2007. 
North Haven Police Department will be on site to help facilitate the movement of traffic through the work zone. 
Please use caution when traveling through the construction work zone and allow for extra travel time.  Please travel at the posted speed limit to ensure the safety of both motorists and work zone crew members.
