NEWINGTON, Conn.- State Transportation Commissioner Ralph J. Carpenter announced today that a Milling and Resurfacing project will be performed on SR 572 (Worthington Ridge Road), from access to Northbound Route 9 to Southbound Route 15 (Berlin Tpk.), in Berlin.  This project is scheduled to begin on or about Monday, September 10, 2007 and continue through Thursday, September 13, 2007.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday – Thursday).  No work will be performed on Saturday or Sunday.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
