Intersection Improvements on Route 22 at Pool Road in North Haven Scheduled to begin February 1, 2007

North Haven, CT- The Connecticut Department of Transportation has awarded an $881,000 project to Louis Gherlone Excavating, Inc. of Orange, CT for minor widening and improvements on Route 22 at Pool Road in the Town of North Haven. Left turn lanes will be added in all directions. The project is scheduled for completion by November 2007.

Work is scheduled to start on or about, February 1, 2007, weather permitting. Motorists can expect lane closures with alternating one-way traffic on Route 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on Pool Road from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Signs will be posted during lane closures and Town police officers will be used to assist motorists through the area.

Please use caution when traveling through construction work zones and allow for extra travel time.
