Connecticut I-95 Construction Advisory
Starting Monday July 9.

Emergency roadwork will begin on Interstate 95 north and southbound on the Moses Wheeler Bridge between Exits 33 in Stratford and exit 34 in Milford.

The work will require the closing of two of the three lanes in each direction during the overnight hours of 8pm to 6am Mon. – Thu. and 9pm to 10am Fri. – Sun..   

Also Starting Monday July 9.

Emergency deck repairs will begin on Interstate 95 on the Pearl Harbor Memorial (Q) Bridge located between Exit 46 in New Haven and Exit 51 in East Haven

         Work will begin on Northbound side first. 

         Nightly lane closures can be expected Monday through Thursdays from 10:00p.m. to6:00a.m.  

         
After repairs are completed on the Northbound side of the bridge, repairs will be performed on the Southbound side.  

         To avoid travel delays through these areas please plan ahead and consider alternate routes to get to your destination.   

         All vehicles including trucks may use Routes 25 and 8, Route 9, I-91, I-691, I-84 and I- 684 in New York. Permitted oversize/overweight vehicles must follow planned route.

            
Non-restricted vehicles that are registered as passenger, camper, taxi, vanpool or combination vehicles may also use Route 15 (Merritt and Wilbur Cross Parkways). For further information and to get a list of restrictions for parkway use, please visit our web site at www.ct.gov/dot.
           
Please use caution when traveling through the construction work zones
Obey the posted speed limit and allow for extra travel time
And Have A Safe Journey
