NEWINGTON, Conn.- State Transportation Commissioner Ralph J. Carpenter announced today that a Culvert Replacement project will be performed on Route 205 (Wauregan Road) in Brooklyn.  This project is scheduled to begin on or about Tuesday, September, 25, 2007 and continue through Wednesday, September 26, 2007.  This project will require Route 205 to be closed and the following detour will be in effect.

Detour: From Route 169 southbound to Route 14 eastbound to Route 12; From Route 12 northbound to Route 6 westbound;

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the detour.  The road is expected to be closed from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday morning to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday evening.
