The Department of Transportation announced today that starting about April 1, 2006, Tilcon Connecticut, Inc. will commence work on the Reconstruction and Intersection Improvements along Route 177 between the intersection of Maxine Road (to the North) in the town of Plainville.
The contractor will be required to maintain existing number of lanes between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Route 72 ramp between 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Northwest Drive between 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Night work will be performed during the hours between 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. maintaining alternating one way traffic.
Work is expected to be complete by July 2007.
