Parades and/or special events for patriotic, religious, athletic, political, memorial, community uses, bike-a-thons or walk-a-thons, etc. that use a state highway require a permit, even if traffic is diverted to an alternate route.
The Local Traffic Authority must apply for a permit from the appropriate District Office at least ninety (90) days prior to the scheduled event.
