CTDOT Branding and Identity Guidelines

Our branding and identity guidelines are the foundation to communicating CTDOT’s message consistently, professionally, and with purpose. These guidelines have been carefully crafted to strengthen our identity and reinforce our commitment to serving the people of Connecticut. Please follow these guidelines and refer to the CTDOT Brand Book for detailed information on how to use various assets.

CT DOT feature logo

The Feature Logo

This logo should be used where it stands alone in its own environment, such as promotional items. It’s the preferred choice when the logo serves as the featured artwork. It is provided in both the CMYK and RGB colorspace in the downloads below.
CT DOT primary logo

The Primary Logo

This logo should be used in the corner of materials against a white background. A black or white alternative may also be used on different backgrounds. It is available to download in both the CMYK and RGB colorspaces below.
CT DOT formal logo

The Formal Logo

This logo should only be used for events outside of the state/region when alongside other DOTs or Federal agencies, such as transportation conferences and presentations. The logo is available in both the CMYK and RGB colorspaces in the download below.

The Icon

The icon should be used in circumstances where the full name “Connecticut Transportation” is elsewhere in the asset or when it will be too small to read. It follows the same usage as the feature and primary logo applications
