Red-light and Speed Safety Camera Guidelines for Connecticut Municipalities

Guidelines

The Connecticut Department of Transportation, along with municipalities, and other stakeholders have developed guidelines for the Automated Traffic Enforcement Safety Device (ATESD) Program. This guidance document contains:

• Guidelines for applying for an ATESD.
• Requirements for installing an ATESD.
• Criteria CTDOT will be using to evaluate plans submitted by Connecticut municipalities.
