Martin Luther King, Jr. Corridor Designation - Request for Information The Department of Banking is seeking applications for the designation of "Martin Luther King, Jr. (MLK) Corridors" to promote secured and unsecured lending in the state with the intention of stimulating economic development within those corridors. Department of Banking Legislative Program

Each year, the Department of Banking, with the coordination of the Government Relations and Consumer Affairs Division, conducts an active legislative program.  As a service to the public and regulated entities, the Department prepares brief summaries of banking and related legislative proposals which have been enacted into law by the General Assembly.
