Important Update for Animal Population Control Program Applicants and Participants!

Application Portal for Low-Income Program is now CLOSED for Fiscal Year 2025

Due to overwhelming interest in the Low-Income Pet Sterilization program, the Animal Population Control Program is no longer accepting applications for the Low-Income Pet Sterilization Program. Applications that are currently pending will be reviewed in the order received. Please note, there is a limited number of vouchers allocated for this program.  A submission of a pending application is not a guarantee of approval.

All applicants will be notified via email regarding the status of their application within 4-6 weeks. You can check the status of your application by logging into your account at apcp.ct.gov. Thank you for your interest in the Animal Population Control Program.

All sterilizations and vaccinations must be done by a participating veterinarian.
