Trooper Involved in Motor Vehicle Accident
On 10/25/10 at approximately 2:15pm, a state trooper was involved in a motor vehicle accident on I-91 northbound near exit 16.
The trooper was stopped in the center median behind a disabled box truck when the cruiser was struck from behind by another motorist.
The trooper and the motorist were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Motorists are advised to use caution in the area of I-91 northbound exit 16, the left lane is currently closed.
