The Connecticut State Police Central District Major Crime Squad served a second active arrest warrant after an investigation into allegations that fraudulent documents were submitted to the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection in an attempt to obtain an occupational license.
The investigation revealed that the accused bribed an examination proctor, a public servant, to issue him a fraudulent passing score-sheet. The exam proctor was employed by a private company which had been contracted by the state to administer exams.
The accused turned himself in to State Police where he was taken into custody for the charges of Bribery 53a-147 and Forgery 2nd Degree 53a-139. The accused was processed and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond with a scheduled court date of 02/22/10 for GA-14. State Police are continuing their investigation.
