INVESTIGATING REPORT OF MISSING TOLLAND MAN
   Connecticut State Police at Troop C in Tolland are investigating the report of a missing person.   The missing person is Joseph Kristan, age 59, d.o.b. 03/25/1949, of Tolland. Mr. Kristan was reported missing after not showing up for work.

  Mr. Kristan was last seen at his residence in the Tolland area on January 15, 2009.  Mr. Kristan is a white male, 5'10", 178 lbs, green eyes, gray hair (receding hairline), goatee, tri-focal glasses and olive complexion.  He also has a 4” scar on the back of his head.

   Investigators believe Mr. Kristan may have six days of clothing in his possession, but he was last seen wearing a baseball hat and a black colored down jacket.  Troop C Troopers and Detectives have, among other investigative efforts checked several local establishments he has known to frequent, checked surrounding towns, and searched several databases available to investigators.

   In addition, Mr. Kristan may be driving a 1989 red Chrysler convertible bearing Connecticut registration 599-UBA . The State Police has entered Mr. Kristan as a missing person in computer files available to all law enforcement agencies nationwide.  Investigators continue to search for additional leads in this case, and seeks the public's help.
