On June 25, 2009, shortly after 3:30 p.m., Connecticut State Police at Troop L and the Burlington Resident State Trooper responded to a bank alarm at the Farmington Saving Bank located in Burlington. Troopers responded to the scene and determined that a lone white male entered the bank, implied that he had a weapon, demanded cash and fled from the scene. The suspect was seen fleeing in a red Jeep on George Washington Turnpike. There were no injuries at the scene.
Troopers advised all surrounding police departments of the robbery and initiated a seach of the area. State Police Major Crime Detectives also responded to the robbery scene.
Below is the bank survailance photo of the suspect. State Police are asking anyone who saw anything in the area of the bank - or anyone who may recognize the suspect - to contact State Police. All calls will be kept confidential.
