STATE POLICE INVESTIGATE ROBBERY IN TOLLAND
At about 8:45 pm on 3/31/08 a lone white male entered the Tolland Citgo Gas Station located on
The male suspect implied that he was armed but a weapon was not displayed. The suspect demanded the money from the cash drawer. The suspect fled from the store on foot to a waiting small sized pickup truck. The suspect entered the passenger side of the vehicle and was driven from the scene.
The suspect is described as a w hite male, 5’6” - 6’ tall, 180 lbs. wearing Red sweatshirt over a black hooded garment, faded denim jeans, white sneakers, white “Scream” mask with a tongue protruding from the mouth.
State Police troopers responded to the area. A search of the area was conducted and all police agencies were advised of this robbery. State Police Major Crime Detectives also responded and have initiated a criminal investigation into this robbery.
