State Police Investigating a
Criminal Impersonation of a Police Officer 
An incident occurred on March 5th, 2007 at approximately 11 a.m. on I-84 westbound in the area of exit 26 in Chesire which has prompted a criminal investigation.
A female victim has reported to the State Police that she was pulled over under suspicious circumstances. The victim told the State Police that the subject was operating what has been described as a gold-colored Dodge Intrepid bearing a registration plate with the possible digits of GJX269. The suspect stopped her on the highway with flashing yellow lights.
The victim stated that the suspect approached her vehicle on foot and identified himself as a police officer with a badge and identification. The victim stated that suspect identified himself as "George Texcera." The victim stated that the suspect told her to be more careful and then drove away.
