Far below normal precipitation has caused a drought and increased fire danger levels. All of Connecticut is currently in a Stage 2 Drought Advisory. Residents are encouraged to be mindful of water consumption and use extra caution to prevent fires. An emergency burn ban remains in effect at all state parks, forests, and wildlife management areas, prohibiting the use of all outdoor grills, firepits, campfires, etc.

CONNECTICUT NONPROFIT SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM

Thank you to all who applied for the 2024 CT-NSGP. Applicants can expect to receive notification regarding the status of their application in the coming weeks.

FEDERAL NONPROFIT SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM

Applications for the 2024 NSGP- National Security Supplemental (NSGP-NSS) must be submitted in the DEMHS Electronic Grants Management System by Monday, January 6, 2025. For additional information, visit the Federal Nonprofit Security Grant Program webpage.
