• DEMHS is hosting 2 webinars on July 15th for interested applicants of the FY 2026 CT-NSGP funding. You will hear from program managers about the grant, including project eligibility, application process, and grant management guidance. There will be another webinar series in August at a later date. The webinar information is provided below, please register as able and email DEMHS.CT-NSGP@ct.gov with any questions!

FEDERAL NONPROFIT SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM

The FY 2026 FEMA Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP-S) program is open and accepting sub-applications. The deadline for submission of all sub-applications to DEMHS in the EM Grants system is be July 15, 2026, by close of business. 

Eligible nonprofit organizations are encouraged to review the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) and associated guidance materials to determine eligibility, program requirements, and application deadlines, located on our website. Reviewing the materials is highly recommended to allow sufficient time for planning and application preparation.

Applications must be submitted online via the DESPP/DEMHS online grants management system, DESPP EM Grants.
