BLACK ROCK STATE PARK
The Black Rock State Park Campground will open for the 2024 season from May 24 through October 14. After September 1, standard campsites are available for walk-in registration during the week (Sunday-Thursday nights), and advance reservations for Friday and Saturday nights.Cabins are available for rent Friday and Saturday nights from May 24 through June 15 and daily from June 17 - September 1.

DEVIL'S HOPYARD STATE PARK
The Devil's Hopyard Campground will open for the 2024 season from April 12 through October 14.
The water at Devil's Hopyard State Park is unsafe for drinking; no running water is available. Please plan to bring your own water when camping or visiting the park.

The Hammonasset Beach State Park Campground will open for the 2024 season from May 24 through October 14.Cabins are available to rent for a 7 night minimum (Sunday to Sunday only).

Cabins are available for rent Friday and Saturday nights from May 24 through August 31.

Cabins are available to rent for a 7 night minimum (Sunday to Sunday) through September 22. Advance reservations are required for cabins.

The Salt Rock State Park Campground will open for the 2024 season from May 10 through October 14.

- 71 tent and recreational vehicle (RV) sites. Utilities to some sites, bathrooms, dumping station, showers.

The Austin Hawes Campground in American Legion State Forest will open for the 2024 season from April 12 through October 14.
- West River Road, Pleasant Valley
- Austin F. Hawes Memorial Campground, midway between Pleasant Valley and Riverton on West River Road. 30 sites in pine woods. Dumping station, bathrooms, showers, fishing. No swimming. Two pets per site permitted. *Early season is designated as rustic camping only - no bathrooms, showers or running water available. Portable toilets available. Water is typically available by May 1st, depending on weather.

HORSE CAMP AREAS
The following campgrounds have been designed exclusively for equestrian use.
Camping is offered for riders who can provide their own mounts. Horse rentals are not available.
NATCHAUG STATE FOREST
The Equestrian Campground at Natchaug State Forest will be open for the 2024 season from April 12 through Thanksgiving.
- 109 Kingsbury Road, Eastford
- Silvermine Horse Camp. 15 wooded sites. Basic facilities only - campers are responsible for cleaning sites and carrying out all trash. Water is not available at this location. Pet permitted. No fee. Available on a first-come, first-served basis.
