The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) has received a request pursuant to section 307(c)(1) of the Coastal Zone Management Act to review proposed activities for consistency with enforceable policies of Connecticut’s federally approved Coastal Management Program contained in sections 22a-92 to 22a-112 of the Connecticut General Statutes to conduct remediation.

PROPOSED ACTIVITY

The proposed activity includes the maintenance dredging of approximately 7,500 cubic yards of sediment for upland disposal.
