Connecticut State Geologist

Meghan Seremet, PG

Meghan Seremet, PG joins CT DEEP as the incoming Connecticut State Geologist, managing the State Geological Survey Program. She attended the University of Connecticut and holds a B.S in Geology and Geophysics, B.S. in Environmental Sciences, and a M.S. in Geological Sciences. Previously, Meghan worked as a project manager and geologist in private consulting, working on environmental remediation and geotechnical projects throughout the United States. In addition to her over 15 years of experience in consulting, Meghan was formally an adjunct geology professor at the University of Connecticut Avery Point campus. In her spare time, she enjoys photography and exploring the outdoors with her family.
