Wildfire Reporting

When you spot a wildfire, quick action can make all the difference. Here is how to help keep Connecticut safe.

If you see an active wildfire:

  1. Stay calm and call 911 and report the fire as quickly as possible.
  2. Tell the emergency dispatcher where you saw the fire and when you noticed it.
  3. If anything looks unusual or suspicious, share that information too.
  4. Stay on the line until the dispatcher tells you to hang up.
