Invitation to Comment:  MARAMA Draft 2007 Base Emissions Inventory
Stakeholders are invited to review and comment on the draft 2007 inventory of air emissions from point sources to be used for regional air quality modeling.
MARAMA is coordinating the development of regional emissions inventories for air quality modeling.  The inventory includes emissions from Connecticut, Delaware, The District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia.  At this time the 2007 point source inventory is available for stakeholder review.
Files for Review and How to Access Them
The draft point source inventory is posted in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and includes stack information and unit level emissions for NOx, SO2, CO, VOC, PM10-PRI, PM10-FIL, PM2.5-PRI, PM2.5-FIL, and PM-CON for all of the states in the inventory region.

Draft point source documentation is posted on the website for stakeholder review.  The document will outline the steps taken to prepare the inventory and the source of the data.

How to Provide Comments
The comment period will be open through November 3, 2009. Comments and questions should be sent via email to Patrick Davis of MARAMA at pdavis@marama.org.
Written comments will be reviewed by the State Inventory staff and MARAMA staff and may result in changes to these draft documents.  After reviewing comments, MARAMA will post a summary response to those comments received by November 3, 2009. 
MARAMA will host a conference call on October 21, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. to help answer questions.  Please note that all official comments must be submitted via email.
