What organizations support the Cultural Heritage Arts program?
The Institute for Community Research (ICR) established the state folk arts program in 1991. In 2015, the CCHAP collection was moved to the Connecticut Historical Society, which is now known as the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History.
This program has been supported by National Endowment for the Arts, Connecticut Office of the Arts, Greater Hartford Arts Council, Connecticut Humanities, City of Hartford, Edward C. and Ann T. Roberts Foundation, Ensworth Charitable Foundation, Knox Foundation, Aurora Foundation for Women and Girls, and several other foundations and donors.
