• Capital Avenue Apartments - Hartford

  State brownfield funds in the amount of $1,300,000 were used for the remediation and abatement of a 1.98 acre former office/warehouse commercial building, located at 390 Capitol Avenue in Hartford.

• Cherry Street Lofts - Bridgeport

  State brownfield loan funds were used for predevelopment site work related to the removal of hazardous conditions including remediation, abatement and demolition.

• City Seeks Better Understanding of Brownfields, Market, With New Study

  The city of Torrington is working to turn brownfield sites, which are common in the city and can decrease surrounding property values, into economic boons, using a new brownfield-area revitalization study.

• Clock Factory - New Haven

  State brownfield funds will be used for the remediation and revitalization of a 1.9 acre site that was formerly known as the New Haven Clock Factory.

• Colt Gateway Redevelopment Project - Hartford

  The Colt Gateway Community offers a mix of office, commercial and residential space at the historic Colt Factory on the banks of Connecticut River.

• Community Development Corporation (CDC) Certification Process

  Per Public Act 24-151, Sections 118-121, Community Development Corporations (CDCs) must be certified by the Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) to be eligible for grants from the Community Investment Fund 2030 or other discretionary funds as they become available.
