Community Development Corporation (CDC) Certification Process
Per Public Act 24-151, Sections 118-121, Community Development Corporations (CDCs) must be certified by the Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) to be eligible for grants from the Community Investment Fund 2030 or other discretionary funds as they become available.

Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that Marsam Metal Finishing Co., a leading source for metal finishing, is undergoing a $2.5 million expansion project in New Britain that will allow the company to increase its operations to meet growing demand and add 25 new jobs to its current workforce of 34 employees.

Governor Dannel P. Malloy today visited TOMZ Corporation, one of the leading machining companies in the state, to announce the company will expand and build a new training center at its existing 95,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Berlin.

Gov. Malloy: Investment Will Create Jobs for Connecticut Residents
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced the state Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) will provide a loan to Oxford Performance Materials (OPM) Inc. for an expansion project at the company’s South Windsor facility. The funding will create or retain 65 jobs for Connecticut residents over the next two years.
