Data, Rosters, and Verification

The Liquor Control Division maintains public records including annual nip sales, wholesale price postings, and current discounts at package stores.

To look up a license: Search any permit by name or number on eLicense.ct.gov. You may additionally create your own rosters of all permits of a certain type or all permits in a certain town using the search function. Please review the Pre-Set Roster page below for more information.

Laws and Regulations: The Liquor Control Act can be found in Title 30 and the Liquor Control Regulation are similarly found in Title 30.Federal regulations can be found at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (TTB).

Our division publishes free pre-programmed rosters on eLicense. You may export the data into Excel and sort further.

Suspensions and Revocations

Package Store Permit Availability

Package store permits are limited by statute. You can find town-by-town availability with this report that is updated nightly.

Nip Data

All wholesalers must collect five cents per nip sold to a package store. Wholesalers report the total number of nips sold on April 1 and October 1 of each year.

THC Can Payments

Wholesalers are required to pay $1 per can of THC Infused Beverages sold to package store twice a year on January 1 and July 1.

Alcohol Beverage Wholesale Price Postings

Wholesalers are required to post their prices to establish the minimum cost each month. You can find their postings for the current month and past months through 2007.

Current Discounted Products at Package Store

Package stores are allowed to discount one spirit or wine product a month by up to 10% below the minimum bottle price. You can find reports for current and past products through June 12. View Beer Discounts here.
