Update Contact Information


Address Change for a Department of Consumer Protection (DCP) License, Permit or Registration
 
Online:
  • Go to https://elicense.ct.gov and click Sign In 
  • Access your account by entering your User ID and Password
  • Select Address and General Maintenance to submit your address change
  • If you need your User ID and Password, submit a request to dcp.online@ct.gov
If you are unable to change online, submit an email to dcp.online@ct.gov and include the following:
  1. Name
  2. DCP license, permit or registration type
  3. DCP license, permit or registration number
  4. Email address
  5. Current address of record
  6. New address


Name Change for an Individual Department of Consumer Protection (DCP) License, Permit or Registration

To report a name change for an individual DCP license, permit or registration, email dcp.online@ct.gov and include the following:
  1. Current name
  2. DCP license, permit or registration type
  3. DCP license, permit or registration number
  4. Email address
  5. New name 
  6. A copy of an official court document reflecting the legal name change (marriage certificate, divorce decree) or a copy of a driver's license reflecting the name change
