Once you submit your online application it will be reviewed by DCP staff. Processing time may take up to 2 weeks. If your case is found eligible, you will be notified via e-mail with further instructions.
If your case is found eligible:
- You will be notified via e-mail with instructions on how to pay the filing fee.The filing fee for Lemon Law Arbitration is $50. If you win the case, the filing fee may be reimbursed by the manufacturer.
- The manufacturer will be notified and asked to submit a manufacturer’s statement and filing fee of $250.
The arbitrator will make the final determination as to eligibility of your case. It is possible for a case to be deemed ineligible by the arbitrator even though it was initially deemed eligible by DCP.
