Bingo registrations are issued to qualifying non‐profit organizations in the municipality. These organizations must be charitable, civic, educational, fraternal, veterans' or religious organization, volunteer fire departments or grange that have been established for at least two years.
Every organization that applies for a bingo permit, must register with the municipal official and receive an identification number. Upon receiving its initial registration, an organization may apply for a bingo permit.
Each permit allows for 15-40 bingo games per day. When choosing the class of the bingo permit consider the following:
Class A Bingo Permit
- Allows an organization to host one bingo day per week for one year. This permit allows for 15-40 bingo games per session.
- Renewal: Permit must be renewed annually
- Number of permits allowed: 1 per year
- Permit Fee: Not to exceed $75
Class B Bingo Permit
- Allows an organization to host a bingo day for up to 10 days in a row. This permit allows for 15-40 bingo games per session.
- Permit expires 10 days after the approved start date.
- Number of permits allowed: An organization is allowed 2 Class B permits in one year.
- Permit Fee: Not to exceed $10 per day
Class C Bingo Permit
- Allows an organization to host one bingo day per month for one year. This permit allows for 15-40 bingo games per session.
- Renewal: Permit must be renewed annually
- Number of permits allowed: 1 per year
- Permit Fee: Not to exceed $50
Note: Permits can be suspended or revoked by a municipal official for any violations of bingo laws or false statements on the bingo application.
