Policyholder Information for Penn Treaty Liquidation
As of March 1st, 2017 long-term care insurance companies Penn Treaty and American Network Insurance were placed in liquidation by Pennsylvania regulators.
Connecticut consumers who may still have Penn Treaty or American Network Insurance policies have a safeguard with the Connecticut Life & Health Guaranty Association, which provides up to $500,000 in protection for long-term care insurance.

Long-Term Care Policies provide benefits for at least one year.
Short-Term policies provide benefits similar to long-term care but only pay benefits for up to 300 days. Please consider your choice carefully.
